ICSC, Redbook Sales Week Ending October 31
Chain store sales continue to show modest improvement. According to the ICSC, chain store sales increased 0.1% for the week ending October 31, following an equivalent gain in the prior week and marking the sixth straight weekly gain. Warm, wet weather was reportedly a drag on sales in the week. Meanwhile, Redbook's month-over-month sales figures strengthened slightly, up 1.9%, compared with 1.8% previously. This exceeds the 1.5% growth target based on retailers' plans.... |
