Vehicle Sales Start Down Slow Road to Recovery

New vehicle sales improved substantially in October, reaching a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 10.4 million units. Although vehicle sales remain weak, October's sales rate was the third greatest in the past 12 months, trailing only July and August, which were bolstered by the cash for clunkers incentive....
